It’s hard to blog when the power is out!
A nice photo to show how pretty it can look. We got over an inch of ice, then we got snow on top of that, and then we had freezing fog that made everything grow frost crystals.
Wish I could have gotten a better photo of that, the frost disappeared fast and I was out in robe and slippers with camera!
The damage to the trees is awful. But aside from one part of the dog yard fence, we didn’t get anything else damaged. Cars were parked out from under trees, altho when one giant chunk of tree fell, it was pretty close to hitting with tips of branches.
All is back to normal now, and I finally remembered to mail out the postcards today!
A few more pictures of the ice and damage. First, a giant tree that is in our field. That’s someone else’s house, good thing it didn’t land on them.
Then, our house from the front, showing quite a bit of damage to the maple.
And me trying to be artsy, a view thru the walnut tree.
