Kitten photos, by request.
Rather than try to crawl around on the porch trying to take pictures, I decided to just put kittens in my lap one at a time. This is only three of the seven that Patches had under the house. They are a little wild still: will hiss, spit, and take a swing at you when you want to pick them up.
First up, this rather blue grey tabby. Has a really precious face and is the biggest kitten in that litter.

I dunno about this.

Hmm, can I make a break for it?
Then a pure grey kitten, there are two, but I chose this one to photograph.

Notice the claws hanging onto my hand.
This little guy did NOT want to be in my lap.

I’m gonna make a break for it.
Busy day today, I’m making tomato jam. LOTS of it. Plus some fresh salsa (pico de gallo) later, to take to work tomorrow.
Enjoy….

Those kitties are too cute!
Almost makes me want to get a cat. But then the dog would just think I got her a treat.
Our cats are pretty used to our dogs… but even visiting stranger dogs were okay once they went in the house. Cats never bothered them again. Rita would like to chase them, but most won’t run, they learned not to. :)
